A transfer from Mohawk Valley Community College, David Gould arrives at Sage well prepared to lead the Gators. He was a two-sport athlete at Frankfort Schuyler Central School after participating in both soccer and golf.

As a team captain during his senior season, he repeated as an all-league honoree and was named the recipient of the school's Frank Leone Award. The 2009 team finished first in the league.

At MVCC, he played soccer for two seasons and was rewarded with a pair of all-region selections. As a sophomore on the 2011 team, he served as a team captain and earned the Kiwanis Award as the athlete of the year. He helped his squad to a two-year mark of 31-6-2 and a top ten national ranking both seasons as well as a pair of regional runner-up team finishes.

He is majoring in biology at Sage and has served as a USSF Soccer Referee and plans to pursue a career in holistic and osteopathic medicine upon graduation. He is the son of Robert and Luciann Gould.
